Growing up watching these lessons being taught, I knew at a surface level how it worked and I appreciated them for what they were. When my own son was born, teaching him these survival skills and watching how they came to influence the rest of his life changed my perspective so much that I knew every parent deserved to know what it was like to confidently have one less thing to worry about.
