Group Lessons and Swim Team

Ryan’s Swim Academy is now offering group lessons, beginning in 2026. These lessons are currently for skilled survival swimmers, designed to increase endurance and familiarize students with a group swim environment. Swim team is currently available both for students new to competitive swimming and those looking to improve the skills they’ve already learned in a fun, social, and safe environment.

  • Beginner Swim Team – Little Fish – Ages 5 to 7, working on freestyle and backstroke foundations. An introduction to swim team practices, drills, lane sharing and more.
  • Advanced Swim Team – Big Fish – Ages 8+, for students looking to learn and develop each stroke in competitive swimming. Students should have competency swimming freestyle and backstroke for 25 yards unassisted as a foundation for this class. If the student is unable to comfortably achieve this standard, they can work in other classes until that level has been reached.
